Product Description
The G28 Acrylic Snare drum is to regular snare drums like a formula one racing car is to your average commuter sedan, so it's little surprise the acrylic shell is decked out with racing stripes. The acrylic shell offers a brighter, louder voice in comparison to wood shell drums. The drum has an excellent crack with a medium-warm resonance.The bearing edges utilize a 45-degree cut on the inside of the shell and a shallow 45-degree counter cut on the outside. The throw-off and butt system was designed to be simple, trouble free, and effective. The snare drum features 20 strand heat treated high carbon steel snare wire. Hoops are 2.3mm steel triple flanged. Ships with an Evans coated G1 top, and 300 gauge snare wire.
